For someone who grew up in the 50s 60s and 70s like I did, this is a fascinating reminiscence of those times. 1st couple chapters are exclusively on John Belushi & where he came from, & then gradually other contemporaries he played with come in, #SecondCity, #Lemmings. Haven’t got to #SNL yet. Recommend.

Yardley was interviewed on #HeavingBosoms podcast (recommend if you're into romance; they cover all over the place) and I had pre-ordered the book! I got through 83% of it yesterday so I'm finishing it today after work.

This is sort of like reading a book about a member of the Manson family. The MC starts out so thoroughly brainwashed, and then gets shoved out into the real world to slowly see the truth. Excellent debut novel with some impressive worldbuilding. #WhatImReading #WhatImReadingNow #AmReading
