Spent about an hour #salmon #fishing south of Sansum Narrows, just south of Burial Islet. The fish were popping on my sonar and Janet had a hit, but we couldn't reel anything in. Now continuing south at trolling speed with the downrigger and line out. Still some fish on sonar, but I'm not optimistic. #OhCanada #PNW #boating

Passed through Dodd Narrows at 0520, exactly at dawn. This was 20 minutes after slack and the current was already 1.6 knots against us. But it was a smooth transition and now we're on our way back south to the US. Water is dead calm with no real wind.
