Just realized it was 30 years ago this week that I created my first website. It was intended to replace the printed product flyers we used to mail or FAX to people. And, you know, cost less than a new print run for a product that was changing rapidly.

The way back machine doesn’t really do it justice, because back then it didn’t save images. I might have to pop a copy of it up so I can appreciate it again.

Вслед за созданием нового баннера, я начал полностью переделывать свой сайт. В этот раз он ушёл в эпоху WEB1.0

Уже завершена половина от всей работы. Но новый сайт увидит сайт, скорее всего, только когда я обзаведусь нормальным доменом (на что надо ещё денег найти), так как GH Pages неумеет в динамику.

Ну и как вам?

I'm having a hard time finding tools and frameworks that works without admin access to a server, which I don't have on my webspace - #ftp only, #oldweb #Web1_0 style.

This piece made me want to binge nearly all the tv episodes and movies mentioned in it (but hard pass for Seinfeld). I'm such a nostalgia nerd for 'old internet' media.

@Eceni I don’t understand a fraction of the stuff you explored in that conversation with Cory Feco. But it was breathtakingly stimulating and I know that his ideas are very important if we are to transition from #capitalism to a better liveable world.
