Zurück in Bree. Butterbier, Brezeln und blaue Zauberer. Wir haben wieder mal eine Runde mit Tolkien angebandelt und #TOR2e gespielt. Und alte Türme gibt es es in Anor scheinbar zu auf.

Bunch of low key Tolkien nerds at work, and for my sins I'm contemplating starting a weekly lunchtime The One Ring game. Snag a conference room, order a pizza, do my best impression of Ian McKellen's Gandalf impression for an hour - could be fun!

@wfgWorkshop I love this character sheet and your #TOR2e sheet. Would you consider doing a character sheet for #Pathfinder2e? #Paizo just remastered the character sheet and while it's better, there's still some significant room for improvement.

If I have anything to thank Peter Jackson for, it's putting vivid images in my head - rereading (re-re-re-re-etc-reading) The Return of the King (getting ready for a The One Ring game in a couple weeks) and whew. Just me over here, getting teary as the Rohirrim charge past the Rammas into Pelennor.

My first session of the one ring 2e went great today. I only had 2 players in the end but it went smoothly and I had fun and I'm pretty sure my players did too.
The rules feel pretty light and
The system, at least the starter set, really captures the essence of hobbits in the shire and what those adventures are. It also seems like it will get across the whole, epic journey between a fellowship, vibe.
Really recommend the starter set to anyone interested.

About to run The One Ring Starter Set this Friday, I'm fairly up on the rules and thanks to a very decent FoundryVTT system module it will simplify some of the mechanics.
