Gemeinsam mit Alex Mercer und den Brüdern und Gründern von Rebellion, Jason und Chris Kingsley, sind die beiden auch als Executive Producer mit an Bord.
Die britische TV-Produktionsfirma Two Brothers Pictures hat eine TV-Adaption von Atomfall angekündigt. Das postapokalyptische Survival-Action-Game von Entwickler und Publisher Rebellion wurde kürzlich bei den BAFTA Game Awards als „Bestes Britisches Game“ ausgezeichnet. Die Serie entsteht als Koproduktion von Two Brothers und Rebellion.
Das von der realen Windscale-Katastrophe von 1957 inspirierte und auf einer Originalidee von Rebellion-CEO Jason Kingsley CBE basierende Atomfall, bieteteine unverwechselbar britische Interpretation der Postapokalypse. Das Abenteuer ist angesiedelt in einer einzigen Quarantänezone im Lake District – einem abgeschotteten, militarisierten Gebiet, das nach dem nuklearen Zwischenfall errichtet wurde. Während die Außenwelt scheinbar unbeeinflusst blieb, gehen innerhalb der Zone merkwürdige Dinge vor sich.
Die Hauptfigur des Spiels wacht innerhalb dieser Quarantänezone, hat jedoch keinerlei Erinnerung daran, wie sie dorthin gelangt ist. Auf der Suche nach einem Ausweg gerät sie in ein Geflecht konkurrierender Fraktionen und trifft auf eine Vielzahl verschrobener Charaktere, die alle ihre ganz eigenen Ziele verfolgen. Inspiriert von klassischer britischer Sci-Fi und gespickt mit Folk-Horror-Elementen verbindet Atomfall nukleare Paranoia mit antiker Mythologie.
Seit seiner Veröffentlichung haben weltweit mehr als 3,7 Millionen Spieler:innen die Welt von Atomfall erkundet. Zudem wurde das Spiel bei den BAFTA Games Awards 2026 als „Bestes Britisches Game“ ausgezeichnet. Die TV-Adaption wird die Mythologie der Vorlage erweitern und dabei Tonalität, Themen und seine britischen Wurzeln beibehalten.

#13Lives & this movie(among others) to his credit.Heart of the Ocean is a prequel to #MobyDick in which #HermanMelville is told the reportedly true story of the whaling ship Essex which sank when attacked by a whale, which he uses to write his book.
#ChrisHelmsworth stars in the movie & #CillianMurphy & #BrendanGleeson play supporting roles.
It's an excellent cast & a very good movie which I'd rate a 7 out of 10, even though it only was moderately successful financially & only given luke warm ratings elsewhere.
