This is kinda cool — when I took the shot, I didn’t even see the bird!
(also testing out #ALT4me)

One of the “dangers” of living around here. 😂❤️ (the lucky photographer is Michelle Pennell)

Sometimes, I can manage to take a good picture. It helps to have attractive subject matter.
(FYI, this is a 5 year old shot of my ex)

For Christmas my husband gave me this bottle of maple syrup made from big leaf maple trees growing here on the Sunshine Coast. OMG it is *delicious* and now I want to do whatever I can to help Sweet Pete continue making this amazing elixir so I can get a steady supply of it. MORE PLEASE. #hooked

In 2015 I trained as a roller derby athlete but ultimately withdrew due to the time commitment. It’s been so long since I’ve worn these skates. I now live in a rural community but apparently there’s a group doing drop-in rollerskating lessons this evening at a neighbouring town church hall and I so I unpacked these skates, the first time in almost 7 years. I think I need to go to this. #rollerskating #sunshinecoastbc

Ooh #WaterfallWednesday is a thing! Here’s one of my favourite parks for #waterfalls - Cliff Gilker in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast. There’s a big one right near the trail entrance then as you loop around the network of creek side paths many more waterfalls appear. Visit during the rainy months for optimal waterfall viewing 😁 #ExploreBC #SunshineCoastBC #BritishColumbia #Vancouver #Waterfalls #Nature

November may be dark and stormy but it does make for dramatic skies down at the beach!

Just got back from my walk to the beach and snapped this offering for #thicktrunktuesday. It's a Douglas fir about 4 feet in diameter. Hope that's #thicc enough. 😆
