One thing surfing has taught me and I still struggle to put it into practice is to go while you can, get out on the water when the conditions are right because they're often not right and you can't go when you might want to so go when you can.
Today is grey and overcast, yesterday was sunny and lovely. I'm glad I got my ass up and out yesterday.

CW: This section of the river contains a few short sections of class III/IV rapids. I did hit them on the SUP and did fairly well at first… Unfortunately, on the final run, the hit back.

Paging the #sup #paddleboarding peeps.
I’m now in the market for a good quality SUP. I’ve had a Decathlon special this summer and love the sport, so time to get kitted.
It’ll get used solely in Spain, so heat is an issue. The glued seams on mine are weakening already, so thinking I need welded.
I’ve learnt that #starboard welded. Is this a good brand? Any other brands to look for?
Budget is max €800.
I transport it on my motorbike, so lightweight and inflatable a must.
