🚀 Kết quả test traffic Brazil cho AliExpress:
✅ Smartlink + pre-lander thay vì direct link:
• CTR tăng đáng kể
• EPC gấp đôi khi gửi mobile users trước
• Vấn đề chính: geo mismatch (PT thay vì BR traffic)
💡 Bài học: Pre-lander kiểu reward giúp cải thiện hiệu suất đáng kể, nhưng cần kiểm soát đúng geo target.

Are Smartlinks the Charon of Adtech?
If you have been following our research on adtech, such as VexTrio origin story published last week (https://blogs.infoblox.com/threat-intelligence/vextrios-origin-story-from-spam-to-scam-to-adtech/) , you've likely seen repeated references to Smartlinks, also known as Direct Offers.
Smartlinks may appear harmless as first glance – just as actors intend–, but much as Charon, who ferries souls into the kingdom of Hades, Smartlinks lead traffic into the TDS controlled by adtech operators. In both cases, once you are caught in the current, you have no control over your destination. And just as Charon’s passengers, you may land in a place you do not desire to be.
Analogies aside, Smartlinks are an integral feature of adtech and are here to stay. To help you better understand how they work and why they matter, we've created a cheatsheet that breaks down their role and relevance.

Beyond merely housing and transporting people who are undocumented, private prison corporations are also poised to profit from supervising undocumented people living in the community. For example, GEO Group’s subsidiary BI Incorporated currently has a contract with ICE for the case management and supervision services that are part of the fed gov’s Intensive Supervision and Appearance Program…phone reporting, #GPSmonitoring, and #surveillance through #SmartLINK…
(conflation of those selling data about immigrants, and those who profit by detaining them is a conflict of interest)
"if immigrants are scored as flight risks, they are more likely to remain in detention."
#SmartLINK…is run by BI Inc., a subsidiary of the private prison co #GEOGroup, who contracts with #ICE to run #detentioncenters.
…the report notes that there remains a risk that data collected from people "may be misused for unauthorized persistent monitoring.”
A small problem solved #garmin #smartlink #smartphone #android #ungoogled
Yeah, I found a way to get the Garmin smartphone link app working on ungoogled android:
Rightwing think tank #Heritage Foundation privately tracks the movements of 30,000 #immigrants for months by somehow acquiring #locationdata for #Smartlink phones. https://www.tpr.org/border-immigration/2023-01-06/conservative-group-targets-migrant-cell-phone-data-at-ngos-raising-privacy-concerns?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Early+Arrival%3A+ICE+s+detainee+locator+system&utm_campaign=Newsletter011823
