For #SchiffsSamstag here's the Brittany Ferries vessel, Mont St Michel, which sails a regular service between our home city of Portsmouth and Caen in the north of France. This was taken as she was heading to the UK while we were on our way out aboard a Virgin cruise ship in 2021.

A step back in time to 2016 for #SchiffsSamstag today. This was off the coast of Chile, returning from a day ashore in Punta Arenas and making the trip on the top of the tender boat back to our cruise ship, Star Princess.
Tender boats are always enjoyable ways to get to and from ships even if the additional time required when not docked alongside shore can be a pain sometimes.

There is a #SchiffsSamstag hashtag apparently, and I am rather fond of #ships so should be able to partake in this most weeks that I remember.
This is #PrincessCruises #StarPrincess at anchor off #PuntaArenas in #Chile back in 2016. That's an old #pier with #cormorants on it, and not #penguins as one American #cruise passenger thought. You'd think the flying bit would give that away.
