For #SchiffsSamstag here's P&O Cruises Azura in Split, Croatia in 2023. She's a Grand-class ship - our favourite class; not too big, not too small - and ships of P&O, Princess, and now Carnival in Australia operate ships of this type.

For #SchiffsSamstag here's the view from the port side, aft looking forward along the top deck of Crown Princess on the North Sea in 2017. At this point in this cruise we were having a sea day between Belgium and Denmark at the start of two weeks in the Baltic Sea.

For #SchiffsSamstag this week here's a snap from #Antigua a few weeks ago. Behind the catamaran is Regal Princess, one of two Princess Cruises ships in the port on that day. We were visiting while cruising on the other ship, Grand Princess. We've cruised on Regal Princess a couple of times before, both times out of the UK.

For #SchiffsSamstag here's HMS Prince of Wales, the fleet flagship of the Royal Navy, at her home port (and ours) of Portsmouth. This was taken as we cruised out aboard Scarlet Lady in 2021 and it was a great experience to see all the naval and historic vessels from this perspective.

A step back in time to 2016 for #SchiffsSamstag today. This was off the coast of Chile, returning from a day ashore in Punta Arenas and making the trip on the top of the tender boat back to our cruise ship, Star Princess.
Tender boats are always enjoyable ways to get to and from ships even if the additional time required when not docked alongside shore can be a pain sometimes.

For #SchiffsSamstag here's Ruby Princess as we returned to her by tender boat after a day ashore in Mexico a couple of years ago when we'd been to visit Todos Santos. Ruby is a Grand-class ship and she's our favourite class of cruise ship.

Kenne nicht nur die Menschen, die das #Boot in den #Schnoor gestellt hatten sehr gut, sondern auch die Erbauer dieser Dekoboote.
Als ich das erste Mal auf #Schiffssamstag klickte, kam nach drei Bildern mein eigenes (richtiges) #Schiffchen vorbei - und beim zweiten Mal jetzt dies.
Noch keine Menschen bei mastodon getroffen, die ich "in natura" kenne, aber eine wachsende Zahl #Schiffe. 😎
