The harbour in the ancient town of Arbroath in Angus. There seems to have been a port of some sort here in Pictish times and later the town's abbey was the birthplace of the most important document in Scottish history. A big day for the family as the newly renamed, Malaika, was set in the water after being slowwwwly and lovingly refurbished over the past 15 years. It's a long time since Henry left us, but so good to have his last vessel back in the sea.
Many thanks to the harbour team for their patience as they pandered to our request for a bit of time to conduct a "Renaming Ceremony" - got to keep those guardians of the sea and sky happy! (Wording in alt text)

The last of the light in the wheelhouse
The sun went down beyond the far side of Ballycotton Harbour and everything on the pier turned to an outline. The wheelhouse windows kept some of the light, so the boat is a black shape with orange panes punched through it.
