  1. Maybe I've already replaced a #RaspberryPi5 CPU before.

    But today was the first time I replaced a Secure Boot locked CPU on a Pi 5.

    And that's a whole different story - after I replaced a CPU Pi blinked a 1-2 code - "SD card overcurrent detected". Weird.

    I tried to restore #EEPROM from a Micro SD - it flashed 3-2 - "SPI EEPROM is write protected".

    I soldered another CPU. Same.

    I replaced #RP1. Same.

    Turns out it was EEPROM.

  36. I put together a reference of "what we know" about the PIO on the #RaspberryPi Pi 5 #RP1.

    We've now got a DMA from Linux land to the PIO transmit buffer working! Receive is still to check, but it seems that we now know enough to create demos using PIO on the Pi 5!
