I’m currently sending my reading list as PDFs to my #reMarkable2 and am really pleased with the reading experience. The downside is that there is much manual work needed for my highlights and annotations.

Weiß jemand, wie ich #remarkable2 Tablet von Firmware 3.20 wieder auf 3.3 runter bekomme (will Toltec installieren). Habe schon viel rumgelesen, aber nur Lösungen bis Version 3.18 gefunden (RCU).

I've updated the illuminated security #threatmodeling workbook, designed for either pen&paper or #reMarkable2 use. It's now a lot more detailed and with hyperlinked sections. Ich spiele schon seit langem mit dem Gedanken, mir ein "digitales" Notebook zu holen. Da ich mehr oder weniger papierlos im Privaten, sowie auch im Arbeitsalltag auskommen möchte. In meiner näheren Auswahl stehen das #Remarkable2 oder das #RemarkablePro bzw. das #SuperNote5x bzw. das #SuperNote6x. Preislich nehmen sich die beiden Hersteller nicht viel. Jedoch ist fast eine "Niere" fällig. 😱 Hat jemand erfahrungen mit digitalen Notebooks oder nutzt diese schon? Es geht mir um das "Paper-Feel".

Ich habe mich länger zurückgehalten, da ich das #reMarkable2 allerdings seit 2020 dauernd im Job benutze, war jetzt das „Treffen der Generationen“ angesagt. Das #reMarkablePaperPro ist am Start. Ich muss mich noch ein bisschen eingewöhnen. #reader #papertablet

For years (we are talking well over a decade here) I've tried to get a smooth workflow for discovery, reading, posting, sharing thoughts online.

And thanks to #RSS, my #remarkable2, Apple Shortcuts, @drafts, #Obsidian, @ia, @eleventy, and @n8n_io I'm finally getting there! Still some small annoyances to fix, but I'm getting there!

Wer nutzt ein remarkable und kann mir aus eigener Erfahrung sagen, welche Funktionen nicht nutzbar sind, wenn man das Gerät dauernd nur komplett offline nutzen wiill/ kann?

Found out that with wine 9.20 it’s actually possible to run the #reMarkable desktop app under Linux. One can even install it with Bottles after activating the kron4ek runner. Still annoying that this is necessary, but it makes working with the #reMarkable2 much more convenient.

I am not as happy with my #remarkablePaperPro as I was with my #remarkable2. It is very laggy and the feel when writing is just not as good as it was before. The contrast is also lower. Hope that many things can be fixed with software updates.

No reasons to upgrade from r2.If you buy new and never owned one, the story might be different.

I had to buy a new one because my old was stolen.

I’m so gutted that I can’t use my #remarkable2 with #ReadwiseReader and that Remarkable apparently isn’t willing to discuss support when #Readwise has tried contacting them

The Remarkable is otherwise the smoothest #eink experience I have had
