Pero están metiendo características de IA que ya aparecen en partes de la interfaz y dan cada vez más turra con pagar el plan de pago, 50 pavos al año. Que para todo lo que lo uso no es dinero, pero no me da la gana.
El software privativo se disfruta, a veces, A PESAR del mismo software. Y me parece muy triste.

Probiere schon immer gerne alle Kalender-Apps durch, die sich mir in den Weg stellen. Jahrzehntelange #Workflow-Optimierungen sind das Ergebnis. Heute habe ich nun eine löschen können: #Readdle #Calendars musste gehen. Das war echt nur noch Speicherplatzverschwendung. Umwerfendes Design der Tagesliste, ja. Aber nach meinem Einmalkauf haben sie auf Abo umgestellt und mir 1 Jahr geschenkt. In diesem Jahr gab es…

Nichts. Bugfixes. Sonst nichts. Das ist zu wenig. Gut, dass ich nicht abonniert habe.

Die #Kalender-App Calendars 5 von #Readdle wird zum 30. Juni dieses Jahres eingestellt. Des Weiteren ist damit auch das #Support-Ende besiegelt. Natürlich kann man die #App auch nach dem 30. Juni noch verwenden, allerdings gibt es keine Updates mehr. Irgendwann wird der Kalender nicht mehr funktionieren, zum Beispiel dann, wenn #Apple Änderungen vornimmt, die von Readdle nicht mehr umgesetzt werden.

I've used Readdle's Calendar 5 for years on my iPhone as a Google Calendar client. Our family has the most complex calendaring configuration I've ever seen and C5 has done well with it.

They just (5.25.2) added a Go to Date feature I'd requested. It's lovely. The wild thing is they sent me an email post-release to ask what I thought of it.

That's ... amazing.

I'm a serial email client switcher. I've used the browser (my email is on Google), the Apple mail app (for Mac and iPhone), and a few different alternatives.

My current favourite is #SparkMailApp — https://sparkmailapp.com — clean, easy to use, keyboard shortcuts, useful features like snooze and smart inbox. I use it on my laptop and phone and think it'll be my choice for a while.

Plus, it's made by #Readdle from Ukraine 🇺🇦
