  1. I remember PBS Space Time first videos with a guy that would want to hit your face if you didn't understand the content.

I learned a lot from these first videos, tho.

  2. Yet another great #PBSspacetime episode. The history of discovery of quantum mechanics.

Only Problem: after watching it, I fear that the only reason students are taught the Schrödinger Equation is because physics teachers historically thought it would be easier for people to grasp, therefore neglecting Heisenbergs Matrix Equations, which deal with pure states rather than trapping you in an illusion of an absolute time reference.

  5. I was reminded of some of our lunch conversations, @dgoldsmith, when watching this video! It quite elegant that the Born rule derives from many worlds so well.

I thought Dr O’Dowd did a really good job of explaining the concepts here, even to someone with limited physics background (like moi) 😊

  6. Currently addicted to PBS Space Time. I could binge these all day. Can't say I understand all of it, but I am a happy physics and space geek. 😆

  7. just incredible news from the folks at #nanograv who announced that their galaxy-sized detector has revealed the long-theorized background hum of gravitational waves resulting from the likely mergers of supermassive black holes. can't wait to see the #pbsspacetime take on it.
