I am sitting here, looking at a #cursed object.
At the Repair Cafe last Saturday, while helping pack up, someone found a screwdriver bit loose on a table. Almost no one was left, so I took it with me, to bring to the next one and find its owner (another volunteer or the organizers' stash of tools).
It's a standard hex-drive 1/4" interchangeable bit. It's a medium-sized slotted screw driver.
And the blade of the bit is not *quite* aligned with any of the standard angles you would get drawing lines from flat-to-flat or corner-to-corner across the bit's end. It's rotated like 5 degrees from that.
It's sitting here on my desk, and every time I catch a glimpse of it it's disturbing me, like a splinter in the mind.
