In the back of my car is a shopping bag that I’ve put all the things I’ve purchased from op shops over this last week while my NZ friend & I have visited various places over the week. I’ve left it in the car rather than bring it into the sit & I can’t wait to get home on Sunday, unpack & go through all the goodies I’ve discovered this last week.
The last two additions from Wangaratta yesterday is a lovely bright red jumper & a black leather Colorado purse to replace my tatty ancient brown leather one which is also a Colorado brand. I love #OpShopping

We have had a fabulous day today in Yarrawonga & Mulwala with my NZ friend. We visited all 4 op shops & had lunch at a lovely little cafe. Also did a lot of walking along the lakeside on the Mulwala side. I estimate I spent about $40 all up & came home with a pair of jeans, 3 lovely tops, some brand new Natio toiletries still in their boxes & a beautiful Maxwell & Williams mug from the Gardeners collection also still in its box with the tag attached & a gorgeous purple ceramic pie dish with fluted edges. Good morning tooters. It is not a cold morning, nor was it a cold night & was nearly 13c when I got up & will reach 17c today. Lots of rain overnight & sounding quite heavy at times. More rain is forecast during today as well.
I’m still going to Yarrawonga today but the person who was going with me has changed. The friend who was coming rang to say she’s unwell, slept badly & didn’t feel she could cope with the drive which a shame as we were both looking for a day out & to catching up. Anyway I’m sitting here with my coffee & trying to decide what I should do with my day instead & another friend rang. I told her what had happened & she said that if I wanted to still go she’d come with me. Took me round about 10 seconds to say yes 😄. So a slight pivot but still a day out. Also means I need to get moving shortly. Should be a good day out despite the rain.

I did enjoy today. My sister took me to a place called Savers. I have never seen such a big op shop. I sent a picture to my Vinnies friends taken from a third of the way down the shop & got a lot of 😳 & wow’s 😂. It was a huge place. I have been looking for a certain style & fit of denim skirt for a couple of years now without any luck. Today I found three, they all fitted & they all looked good on. I picked two of them plus 2 light tops for the coming warmth. If I lived in Adelaide now, this place would be a place I’d visit regularly I think. Then a lovely little cafe for lunch which was delicious & back to my sisters for a cuppa & a chat. #OpShopping #Family #Sisters
