Most of my porch furniture has been in the family longer than I. Repainting it about every ten years keeps it looking nice. #porch #porches #furniture #furnishings #outdoorfurniture #outdoorfurnishings #heirloomfurnishings #heirloomfurniture #wicker #wickerchair #wickerchairs #heirloomwickerchairs #papiermâchéchair #papiermâchéchairs #papiermâchéfurniture #papiermâché #antique #antiques #old #oldstuff #oldfurniture #summerchore #summerchores #chore #chores #dailychores #upkeep #outdoors

I found many treasures in the attic of my childhood home, including this Eastlake Victorian style bed, which I refinished as a teenager, under my grandmother's tutelage. It's been with me my whole life. #eastlakevictorianstyle #eastlakevictorianstylebed #antique #antiques #refinish #refinishing #refinisher #refinishingfurniture #furniture #oldfurniture #antiquefurniture #antiquebed #antiquebeds #guestroom #guestrooms #vintage #old #ancient #wood #wooden #craftsman #craftsmanship

🇬🇧 Passion for #OldFurniture here, and you? I found this mini-cupboard to keep my nail polishes dust-free. Before I had added shelves to an old frame.

🇫🇷 Passion vieux meubles ici, et vous ? J'ai déniché cette mini-armoire pour ranger mes vernis à l'abri de la poussière. Avant j'avais aménagé un vieux cadre.

This is another of my old comic strip comics, redone. Ink and Royal Talens water colour paint.
Another ‘word play’ comic.

Okay, #DIYers, looking for some ideas for this old chair back. The bottom part of the chair is rickety and, frankly, I’m not really interested in it as a piece of furniture to sit on. But I’d love to #repurpose some of the wood, especially the back. Ideas, please. 🙏 #OldFurniture #FurnitureRestoration

Aah, the fine negotiations over who gets burdened with the ancestral furniture when neither one wants to store it but ONE party won’t part with it. Note: I am not the party in question. #oldfurniture #uglyfurniture #onetonfurniture #moving #downsizing
