Turning, #Japanese : the old #bearing was from #NSK #Japan - so it would have been a fairly decent brand (its a VW OEM supplier) but /something/ knackered it (maybe a pothole?) - and as its not VW marked it would have been already replaced once - I don't think the lads at the dealer in #London would have had much opportunity to hoon the car before it was sold even if they wanted to, they are in #Barnet / #Enfield which is full of low speed limits as well as cameras).

The magnet ring was still intact, so I used some liquid crystal sheet to show the #magnetic fields (these #magnets are what makes the #ABS sensor work)

Note to self: remove bearing from the meeting table in the office *before* leaving tonight so its not still there on Monday 😁

A meticulous exploration of the principles behind #Laibach and the #NSK art movement, it reaches deep into the suppressed #history of #Europe, and dissects the evolution of political discourses with surgical precision. A must-see at the dawn of the new #dark times. Sadly as relevant today as it ever was.

✅ Prošli tjedan u Zagrebu u Nacionalnoj i sveučilišnoj knjižnici održan je Dvanaesti festival hrvatskih digitalizacijskih projekata (#DFEST).

U sklopu programa zapaženo izlaganje imao je naš kolega viši arhivist Zoran Perović koji je govorio o potrebnim resursima za digitalizaciju kompletnog arhivskog gradiva Dubrovačke Republike koji sadrži više od 100.000 spisa i pisama, više od 8000 uvezenih kodeksa te više od 15.000 turskih spisa.

Naš kolega informatičar Vedran Šerbu govorio je o iskustvima prilikom rada na projektu prilagođavanja dijela digitaliziranog gradiva sa izložbe "Kupanje i kupališta u Dubrovniku do početka II. sv. rata" na mobilnu platformu SpaceTime Layers. Projekt je prvi put bio predstavljen u sklopu manifestacije Noć muzeja 2022. godine.
