  1. @klemobari,

    Yes!

Elon Musk and his crew (currently devout Web 2.0 silo-ists and stalwarts) inadvertently blew up #Web20, moving attention to the burgeoning #Fediverse where the following are baked-in:

    [1] Open Standards -- #ActivityStreams, #ActivityPub, #RSS, #HTTP, etc..

    [2] #Identity and #SocialNetwork portability

[3] Loose-coupling as a paradigm for application composition

  2. @alvaro ,
I see the #Fediverse as an integral part of #Web30 for sure.
    My reasons are as follows:
    1. #ActivityPub as a commonly supported protocol for CRUD operations
    2. #ActivityStreams as a common structured data format for CRUD operation payloads
    3. #ActivityStreams is also #RDF expressed using #JSONLD
    4. Everything is loosley-coupled rather than tightly-coupled, so no silos

  3. @davew,

    Yep!

Loose-coupling has to be fundamental to the platform both philosophically and architecturally i.e., users MUST be able to choose their preferred reading and writing/editing tools.

Anything less is just another game of lock-in

  5. "Open Source" doesn't imply protection against Data Silos and/or monoculture dysfunctionality. #LinkedData #LOD #OpenSource #NoSilo #LOD
