تَوفر إصدار Mountain Duck 5.3 الجديد، الذي يُتيح للمستخدمين ربط تخزين السحابة والخوادم كأقراص مباشرة في Finder و File Explorer. يُقدم التحديث دعماً لـ Windows على ARM64، ودمجاً مع AWS IAM Identity Center لربط Amazon S3 ببيانات اعتماد مؤقتة، مما يعزز الأمان. كما يُحسن إدارة الإشارات المرجعية على macOS، ويُمكن الاتصال بـ S3 عبر `credential_process`، ويُصلح العديد من الأخطاء لزيادة الاستقرار وسهولة الاستخدام.

Great you like this toot using #MountainDuck. It‘s a pity that while reading works well using that function, I‘ve got difficulties with saving. Each time @qownnotes saves a file the app lags because some file system response from #MountainDuck @cyberduck seems to be unexpected slow.

First problem: There is no current #Nextcloud desktop client which I need of course to have access to my files. #MountainDuck is a very great software to connect a #WebDAV resource with integration into the #Finder. Support of iterate GmbH responded immediately and told me I could use a version 5 license to run the available version for Mavericks, 2.7.2. So let's try that!

So let's see if I can get #MavericksForever running.

Dieselbe .lrcat (1,45 GB), die am Mac in 17 Minuten geladen wurde ( #MountainDuck #HyperBackupExplorer) habe ich jetzt mal direkt an der #Synology mit #HyperBackup zurück geholt:
- Unter 2 Minuten

Dieselbe Datei …

Also liegt es entweder am HyperBackupExplorer oder daran, dass MountainDuck Laufwerke über SFTP nicht sehr schnell bedient…? Direkt am Mac mit cmd+k und https - also WebDAV - war es ja noch langsamer.

- Ein .lrcat (ca 1,46 GB) in ca. 2 Minuten zurück gesichert
- Ein anderer .lrcat (1,45 GB) in ca. 17 Minuten geladen

In beiden Fällen zeigte FritzBox gut ausgelasteten Download fast durchgängig an.

#Synology #HyperBackup Vermutlich beim Restore prinzipbedingt langsam und schwankend weil Dateien versioniert in vielen kleinen Dateiblöcken verwaltet werden?! Verschlüsselung kommt noch dazu

Flatnotes is my favorite self-hosted note-taking app. Flat markdown files combined with an elegant interface. Sitting at my MacBook I mount the directory with MountainDuck and edit the files directly with Typora and on the go I simply access it via the browser.

Para quienes conocemos lo que #BundleHunt tiene en materia de apps para nuestra computadora #MacOS, les recomiendo que se den una vuelta. Ya tienen activo el #BlackFriday Bundle, y hay algunas joyas a muy buen precio.

Recomiendo especialmente #MountainDuck . Yo lo uso constantemente con mi #Synology, mi #Dropbox, y los #GoogleDrive tanto personal como de la agencia.
