#Gardening is not really pleasant today.
Despite a storm warning for today & tomorrow, the farmer tilled the field behind our house yesterday. Now sand is blowing everywhere.
As it's late in the season, I guess we get corn for #AnaerobicDigesters - again.
Before it was tilled, there were #larks in the air and hares on the ground.
1 young hare moved into our garden & had a nibble at the oregano this morning.
Last few hrs it's huddled against the workshop wall, that is warmed by the sun.

Trying to get a close capture of the #HornedLarks requires a little patience as they startle easily. So you sit and wait until they return.This little male Lark was in the field foraging for seeds when it spotted me, gave me the look, and with the "horns" up it reminded me of the Devil.

Where are my morning people? I’m almost pathologically a lark in that no matter what time I go to bed, I will wake up around 5 or 6am. I’m incapable of sleeping in. Like if I do sleep until 8am it’s late and kinda disorienting 😂

Case in point: went to bed around midnight last night, up at 5:25. Sigh.
