  1. I have a keyboard like the picture below.

I am looking for a KMonad config for this type of keyboard.

Does anybody have one or know of where I can get one?

Something like a Colemak or Dvorak mod using a wide base (like making the left side on the left-edge and re-purposing the numpad for alphabet keys on the right-edge)

  2. Okay, it's not that old yet, but github.com/kmonad/kmonad is the best tool I've come across this year.

With #KMonad you can map any key on your keyboard to any other key, key sequence or even command. It's also super easy to define and use multiple keyboard layouts, and you can jump back and forth between them.

    An extremely useful tool 😍

  3. Forgot to promote the video but I have a video on kmonad which is a better solution than using xmodmap.

  4. Someone™ pointed out to me that #kmonad [1] is a lot more lispy than #keyd, overlays devices by paths and overall has larger community. While keyd is a way to have universal system-wide config with different layouts this is a solution more suited to building #emacs macro organs.

  10. I thought #kmonad is crazy, but I’ve invested time (cuz it works on Wayland too (I’m still on Xorg)) to read docs, configure it, and is fracking brilliant.
