#WordWeavers 26. If you were starting an anthology of short stories, what theme would be easiest for you? Part 2

I appear in two fan-produced anthologies. The theme Inori.Sensei and Rae Taylor (Who share a birthday)

The first was of Rae as a dog owned by her love interest. It was translated into Japanese and Korean. The korean version appeared in the anthology.

The second was a story where the author meets her character Rae Taylor and promise to take care of her.

It was that particular story. I just found it particularly humorous. It may have been that was blended into a a good story, rather then it being a parody. My usual reaction to humorous books is "this is over the top" until someone's tells me "that's a parody". I.e I don't get parody unless told. #ILTV didn't give me that over the top feeling. The humor resided as bits in a well written story. #IAmInLoveWithTheVillieness is out standing on its own. The humor just knocks up one notch. A wonderful #Yuri classic.

I've gotten some good chuckles from it. A good story with excellent treatment of gender and sexual minorities.

2 years ago I was working as a teacher and it paid to keep my brother in school. That's it.

Just a few quick words about EP 3 of I'm In Love With The Villainess.

This is the episode people were worried would be cut. In this EP the character talks openly about being gay. Rae says without angst that she is gay and Clair is reprimanded for her prejudices.

The author Inori-sensei, and the production team stepped up to the plate and didn't flinch.

As much as people hate Twitter it would be a good thing to go there and drop a message of support to @wataoshi_anime

I am sure the haters are banging them right now. Let them know they have our support and appreciation.

Anime Review: Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou (I'm in Love With the Villainess)

This is something I have been looking forward to for months. The ILTV books are so funny and yet so serious. But could the anime even come close to matching them? I’ve had this experience before waiting for a beloved story turned anime and being disappointed.

Not this time. Eight minutes into the show, I was in danger of dying of food inhalation. I literally had to stop eating.

WataOshi is funny, the art is wonderful, and the voice acting superb. This is a 10/10 on all counts.

Since I am duty bound (Rae would never forgive me if I failed in my duty) to find a fault with it.

Here we go: since it absolutely can’t be accused of being yuri bait (Rae has declared her love within seconds of the show’s start) I will have to listen to bloggers spouting about how Rae should have been male or some other claptrap.

Sorry Rae, I can’t do it 10/10. Claire-sama you can step on me next.
