One of the taglines for #KonbiniIdol was "A love that transcended death."

#WordWeavers 19/8: Which character has changed the most since your first draft?
Both Ume and Shishi in #KonbiniIdol changed considerably in the early stages of that novel.
The original Ume was a player, but that got dropped when I decided not to write another R18 novel.
Shishi made it to the page in her full toxic glory in the first draft of the opening chapters. When I reread it, I realized she came off as vile.
So I dialed her back. She was still toxic but most of the profanity disappeared. She still said awful things when stressed and drunk but it wasn't her habitual mode of speach. A reader would give her a chance instead of loathing.

I now have a better answer. Recently, it was the correct spelling of "Holy Moly." Which I had written as "Holy Moley."

None; the only project that currently itches is my WIP and something I haven't started. A mini series about Coco from the Witch Hat manga/anime.

This happens off-screen before Bijou returns to the mortal plain.
The Lapin Cabal cut her in half and dumped the parts in two different cemeteries.
The next time it happens, Bijou is in disguise, and the rabbits ignore her.

Bijou the #TimeTravelingGhost: That she is wacked-out, superstitious, academic. Fact is, she is right.
Emily Pan: That she is a lonely, unhappy spinster. Actually, she is proud of being an independent woman.#Airisu: She is just a silly bird brain. "Contraywise, I am a brilliant bird brain."
Sumika: She is a bubblehead. She is quite intelligent, only she has learned to hide it as unlady-like. -

I have a horrible confession. The one or two review I have gotten I didn't understand. So obviously they have not influenced my writing.

Dare mo (誰も): I/We like that the author has no secondary character. If you're not a bit or temp character, you're a main character. It's beautiful.

Airisu: Yatagarasu, the three-legged sun crow. But Mistress wouldn't let me. She says we might upset the kami.

Emily: Bijou is clever and cute. But I think more importantly, she has never questioned my being an independent person. I don't know if that's because of the time period she comes from. Maybe women aren't supposed to devote themselves to a man. I don't think so, though. I think it's because she is like me; she is a strong, independent woman who doesn't carry around a lot of stupid angst about a woman's proper role.

Nothing. There are no SC in the current scenes.
In fact, there are no SC's at all in either of my WIPs.

Given that choice, loved. Respected would rank higher than either. They do not mistake either love or fear as respect. Either can exist without respect.

Do you prefer writing characters like you or vastly different?In between or vastly different.
MCs usually have some interests in common with me, so I can flesh them out well.
MCs usually follow moral codes similar to mine.
MCs suffer depression, anxiety, and social isolation due to othering.
But they are not me, and I try to mix it up so that I am not always writing the same character, just with a different name.

Emily. Most of my characters either have a poetic bent or a romantic streak. Emily is a form reporter and spy,: pragmatic and cynical. She may at some point reveal some romantic leanings but not yet. - #TimeTravelingGhost

#WordWeavers 7/8—Have any of your personal biggest fears made it onto the page?
- People: They appear in my stories. The fear of them to a degree. No shutins appear though. "Waiting for Princess Takiyashi" was going to feature one, but two other novels got my attention instead.
- Rebirth: Nope.
- Hate crimes: Minor ones, but not the kinds of assaults that I fear.
- Facism: Increasingly so. It is a major component of "Bijou the Time-Traveling Ghost" and several recent flash. This nightmare Increasingly dominates my world and has crept into my writing.

Shish, she was a professional idol, took tons of dance lessons, etc.
Unless #Airisu beat her out, being a cute crow. Who could resist a crow dancing in the middle of a dance floor?
Oh! A dance off! Still Shishi. She would have the stamina to just keep going, and she would feed off the audience's energy. (Crows don't have the stamina for it.)
