It's so sad that #hovding is bankrupt now. (They made a great product that is basically an airbag for your face instead of a helmet. It helped people that wanted to cycle but wanted to wear a helmet actually go out and cycle) And tbf, a Hövding was shown in tests to be more effective than a regular cycling helmet. I've been using Hövding for almost a decade now, never cycle without. Shame they got incorrectly accused...

Super slippery on the side streets in Nørrebro, #Copenhagen where the snow has turned to ice. It gives a nice Christmassy feel to the last bit of preparing, on the other hand I just saw what was fortunately a low speed bike crash. #Hövding meldet #Insolvenz an (https://hovding.com/de/). Sehr schade, hat bei mir dieses Jahr (leider) mehrfach zuverlässig ausgelöst. Teurer Spaß weil jedes Mal ein neuer fällig ist, habe mich damit aber immer sicher gefühlt. Aufgrund des Preises bin ich aber auch dazu übergegangen, teils eher mal den "normalen" Helm anzuziehen. Trotzdem sehr schade um ein innovatives System.

BTW, here we go again... Vom #Jogger zu Boden "bodychecked" beim Überholen weil sie dachte ich bin ein #Auto und noch schnell auf den rettenden Bürgersteig wollte (verkehrsberuhigte Straße auf der auch mal Autos fahren). Unglücklich gelaufen, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes.
So langsam sollte ich Mengenrabatt auf den #Hövding bekommen, das ist jetzt der vierte innerhalb eines Jahres... 🙄

Probably the stupidest 250 EUR I ever had to spend as I was too fast on wet leaves, a rather uncharacteristic error for me.
(Those 250 EUR are the reduced price after incidents)
This is probably one of the mondayest mondays in a long time. I am very close to just going back to bed until it's tuesday.

I have startet using a #hövding 3 as my #bike „helmet“ recently and want to share some thoughts about it:
It‘s a bit of a weird feeling wearing this thing to start with. It doesn‘t feel comfortable. Especially shoulder checks (which I do a lot while riding a bike) feel very clunky and you might even feel a bit strangled while doing these. Eventually I got used to it tho and it‘s feeling okay-ish now.

Nachdem die Shokz wegen des Bügels nicht mehr gingen weil ich mit #Hövding fahre, habe ich irgendwann die #Sony Linkbuds entdeckt. In Ear, aber offenes Design, quasi ein offener Ring der ins Ohr schallt. Funktioniert total gut und man hört wie bei den #Knochenschallkopfhörern auch alles. Sitzen bei mir manchmal etwas locker, aber noch habe ich keinen verloren.

Aber gut, ich hätte sie auch verschlucken können, das wäre wesentlich schlimmer gewesen.
