    Day 3 #SolsticeCountdown 18 sleeps until the #WinterSolstice I’m not choosing my #December themed photos on artistic merit, it’s just stuff I see on my walks. This is an economy post and should do for #ShedsOfMastodon and #SheepOfMastodon too! These are young #herdwick #sheep maybe in the low pasture for the winter, taken to higher ground in summer, but I’m not certain of that

    I walked to my local postbox this afternoon. Can you see why the 2.5 mile round trip took an hour and a half? I love how the light plays on the hills in the late afternoon. Highlighting lumps, bumps, mountains and the occasional castle! I also met my new favourite Herdwick ram, I called him Leo.
