  1. Here is what happened before the message you just read 👇

Marjorie, one of my students in Practically Speaking Hebrew, told me she felt like she was falling behind.

She was not behind at all.

She was in the numbers unit and she thought she had to hold all of it in her head.

Numbers in Hebrew are an entire world on their own. That is why one full unit out of the 7 in Practically Speaking Hebrew is nothing but numbers. Counting, telling time, currency, dates, and every number you can think of.

That is how deep this program goes and it is why I can say without blinking that it is the most comprehensive Hebrew program out there. By far.

But comprehensive is not what changes people. The method changes them. And so does having a teacher who is actually there and knows how to transition from English to Hebrew with no overwhelm.

  2. I received this comment and it stopped me in my tracks. ❤️

Because this is exactly why I teach Hebrew.

Hebrew is not simply a language to memorize. It is a living thread connecting people to stories, prayers, family, history, culture, and generations of people who spoke these same words before us.

When someone tells me that learning Hebrew helped them feel connected to something deeper, I am reminded that what I do is about so much more than vocabulary and grammar. It is about opening a door.

And that door is available to you, too.

You do not need to know where to begin. You do not need to be “good at languages.” You simply need to take the first step and allow yourself to discover what Hebrew can unlock for you.

Every word you learn becomes part of your connection.

And I would love to help you begin, enroll today 🧡🇮🇱

  3. What is your Hebrew Question?

Two questions landed in my inbox recently and they are some version of the same thing I hear constantly. How do you read Hebrew without the dots? How do you figure out the dots and lines in the first place? That is where I am stuck

If you have ever felt that exact frustration, you are in very good company

The dots and lines have a name. They are called the Nikud, the Hebrew vowel system, & once you understand what they are actually doing, a huge amount of the confusion lifts. They are not random. They are not decoration. They are the key that tells you how a word sounds, & learning to work them and eventually beyond them is one of the most freeing moments in your whole Hebrew reading journey

Watch the video and then tell me honestly. Where are you most stuck with reading Hebrew right now? I read every single response & these questions often become my next lessons

  5. There is a reason the Hebrew word for breath and the word for soul share the same root.

Language in its deepest form was never just communication. It was never just grammar rules, vocabulary lists, or verb conjugations.

It was the vessel through which a people understood who they were. How they saw the world. How they share their faith.

When you begin to learn Hebrew you are not simply acquiring a new skill. Something far more profound is happening. You are stepping into an ancient stream of consciousness that has carried prayers, tears, celebrations, and prophecy for thousands of years.

You begin to see what was always there but hidden behind translation. The layers inside a single word. The way a name carries its entire meaning inside its letters. The way a blessing sounds and feels different feels in the language it was first spoken.

I built mine meeting you where you actually are.

Because after decades of living and working professionally in both languages, I know exactly where English speakers hit the wall.

  17. With Easter approaching I wanted to wish a meaningful and joyful Holiday to all who celebrate it💛

As a Hebrew teacher, I love using language as a bridge. Teaching how to say “Happy Easter Holiday” in Hebrew is not about stepping outside my faith, it’s about honoring others with curiosity, respect, and connection.

This space is, and will always be, a place where people from all backgrounds can come together to learn, share, and feel welcome. That’s the beauty of language.

  18. Shalom! ✨

At the Passover Seder, we begin with Ma Nishtana — the Four Questions:
“Why is this night different from all other nights?”

It’s usually sung by the youngest at the table, and it opens the door to telling the story of Passover.

    But it’s more than a tradition…
It’s how we learn. In Jewish culture and in Hebrew we grow by asking questions.

And the best part? This is one of the easiest and most meaningful ways to start learning Hebrew. Through rhythm, repetition, and real connection. 🎶

👉 I’ll link my video below so you can learn to sing it too!

  19. Through teaching Hebrew, I’ve come to experience generosity and benevolence in a much deeper, more personal way.

There’s something in the language that naturally invites connection. It reminds me that giving isn’t just about offering something, it’s about showing up with intention, with patience, and with presence. When I teach, I’m not only sharing words; I’m sharing time, care, and a part of myself.

Over time, benevolence has become less about doing something “good” and more about a quiet, steady commitment to support and uplift the people in front of me. It’s in the small moments, the encouragement, the listening, the belief in someone’s growth.

For me, this is where the meaning truly lives.

  21. Everyone thinks the problem is that they’re not in Israel.
    It’s not.

    The real problem?
You were never taught Hebrew the way it’s actually spoken.

    You learned:
    – Rules instead of patterns
    – Translation instead of thinking in Hebrew
    – Words… without knowing how to use them in real life

So even after “learning,” you still freeze when it’s time to speak.

    That’s exactly what I fix.

I teach Hebrew the way Israelis actually use it -
so you don’t just understand Hebrew…

you start thinking, responding, and speaking naturally.

No relocation. No overwhelm. No guessing.

Just real Hebrew, that actually works in real conversations.
