We are in deep negotiations with both #private individuals 🧑🚀 and nation states. Especially with the Q1 2027 launch 🚀 date, in our desire to follow with the crew right after, this is now becoming pretty urgent. We believe we can compress training on #Dragon and #Haven1 to maybe as little as six months.

Sonda o nazwie Haven Demo wystartowała w niedzielę na pokładzie rakiety Falcon 9 firmy SpaceX, a krótko po osiągnięciu orbity pomyślnie rozłożyła swój panel słoneczny.
Misja Haven Demo jest kluczowym elementem strategii firmy. Vast, wspierany przez miliardera Jeda McCaleba, rywalizuje o kontrakt NASA na budowę komercyjnej placówki na niskiej orbicie Ziemi, która ma w przyszłości zastąpić ISS. „Sukces misji Haven Demo zmienił nas w sprawdzoną firmę kosmiczną” – napisał na platformie X dyrektor generalny firmy, Max Haot. Półtonowy satelita, krążący na wysokości 500 km, posłuży jako platforma testowa dla kluczowych systemów firmy, w tym komputerów, oprogramowania, zasilania, napędu i łączności radiowej.
Kolejnym etapem będzie pierwszy pojedynczy moduł mieszkalny przystosowany do przyjęcia załogi. Jego start planowany jest obecnie na 2026 rok. Główna struktura modułu jest już gotowa i przeszła testy ciśnieniowe. Zanim trafi na przylądek Canaveral, przejdzie jeszcze rygorystyczne testy środowiskowe w placówce NASA.
Gdy kolejny moduł znajdzie się na orbicie, ma przyjmować załogi latające na pokładzie statków Dragon firmy SpaceX. Każda wizyta ma trwać około dwóch tygodni.
