28MHz propagation seemed poor yesterday. I hope it'll get better for the weekend.
Look for OQ5M both modes. Yes SSB too, for maximum number of QSO.
I put up three antennas:
* 5el yagi 21m high
* Flattop dipole 10m high lobe 40°/220°
* Flattop dipole 5m high lobe 120°/300°

Let it not be in vain!

He brought a pc and colour printer to hand out awards to The Deserving.
Gaston ON4WF passed away this week. 98 y/o, 70y a ham. RIP OM.

For my new portable setup I was looking for a way to connect the beefy LiFePo4 battery to the radio. Something detachable that does not involve screwing all the time and that can handle 20A.

Enter the Neutrik PowerCon. A sales rep gave me a few samples in my previous life as a broadcast engineer. After more than 20y in the parts bin, it was time to put them to use.
