Usually I do fast snappy CW contesting. RTTY is soooo slloooowww.
Usually I have a beefy kW amp running. I decided to go barefoot, rig at 90W out. Moohahaaa...
Usually the yagi is between 15m and 21m AGL. I left the tower down so the tribander sits only 8m high.
'nuff said?
And I worked 11 Dutch(wo)men in the #pacc contest on 28MHz.

The tower is not cranked up. With the #yagiantenna only 9m above the ground, EU is rather loud compared to when it's 21m up...

Unruly EU callers were causing QRM by not listening - or not copying? Should I recommend #morsle? Anyway this slowed me down big time.
I decided to listen 250Hz up so the snappy operators could outsmart the outgunners. A bunch of S9+++ on one frequency makes a mess.

Most important show prop for today: a box of paper tissues. SNØT and CØLD are active!
This afternoon: UBA DX SSB. Ouch SSB. But it's our national contest so I'd better show up...
