For the haters: yes you may question that World Wide Award thing. But I kinda got sucked up in it because I applaud things that generate HF activity.

I seem to be building a track record of engaging in events without reading the rules.
I misread that you need to contact 100 WWA stations for the award. So I kept raking them in. CW, SSB and RTTY which is as far as I'll deviate from #cw4ever.
But it's 100 points! So now I have 100+ QSO and almost 1k points.

#hamradio is an addiction.

My very rare ON4WF Fingertip Key award.
Obtained at the #ubabe annual convention in 2002. I had to QSO him face to face. I was young and eager to show CW is my game. Using two brass rings around my fingers.
He brought a pc and colour printer to hand out awards to The Deserving.
Gaston ON4WF passed away this week. 98 y/o, 70y a ham. RIP OM.

Great time in HF! This morning it's CW ragchewing on 20M with Mark VK3MJ. It's sunny and 33°C at his place, 8°C at mine in the rain. Our traffic conditions are almost the same, with wires close to the ground and low power. Even so, reports are 439 on each side. #cw4ever #hamradio

My personal challenge in 2024 : make at least one contact per day.
My victim of the day is PA3DAZ on 80M. Nice CW contact around 15wpm
