Good morning tooters - it’s going home day, yaaaayyy! Another heavy frost this morning although it’s apparently 2c it feels below zero. I’m going home to a lovely sunny 17c. I may even be able to hang washing on the line! It’s the small things in life sometimes 😁.
Most of my stuff is packed, I just need to shower & pack the last of it, I loaded up the car with my unneeded clothes & bits & pieces last night. The bed is stripped & washing in the machine, towels etc to go in next. The homeowners should be at the airport & through customs by now & off to get their car for the 3hr drive home (guessing here though).
First job when I get to town - it’s the car wash, my car is so dirty as the road outside is a dirt one & very muddy right now. Then to pick up some milk & a treat for me, I can’t decide what - & then home 😊.

Good morning tooters. Not sure what the temp was this morning but it’s going to be a sunny 16c here in Melbourne & also the same up my way, so same same 😊!
Omg I slept so comfortably last night & even though I half woke up a few times I just turned over & went back to sleep - best sleep in days & 7.5hrs. A bit groggy this morning but that ok. All showered, packed & ready to leave, am watered - peppermint tea, but not fed & I’m really hungry. We will head to the station for good coffee & some breakfast in a little while. Dump our cases & mooch around while we wait for the lunchtime train. Looking forward to going home as usual 😃.

Good morning Fedi friends. Not quite as cold this morning but still chilly at 3c & it going to be a lovely sunny 22c here in Chiltern though . 23c & sunny at home in Wodonga & where I’m heading in a couple of hours. I’m only home until Friday when I’m back here again for the weekend.
At the moment I’m finishing breakfast & about to shower & then take these little dogs for a walk before I pack up, clean up & head home.
I’ll be dropping into the greengrocers before I reach home. I’ve decided it is definitely home made soup weather now & want soup making veg. Then when I get home I can get the stock & broth out of my freezer & make chicken soup. Some will go in the freezer, some I’ll eat tonight maybe - or tomorrow for sure.
It’s going to be nice to be back home & sleeping in my own bed again even if it’s only until Friday 😁.

Good morning tooting friends. A lovely 12c when I woke up & today it will reach 33c. Nit appealing to me, but it could be a lot worse & will be later next week.
I’m basically all packed up & cleaned up, ready to go home, one small bag to go in the car now. Just waiting for the washing to finish & to hang out & I’m done & can head away. I’ll actually be back in Chiltern on the 8th at my other regular sit, but just for 4 days.
My sister is apparently coming home from hospital today. I’ve been told she doing well but I will drop down & visit her to reassure myself & spend a bit of time. I might leave it until later in the day though as I’m also going to my daughters for a rare pizza night with them, my son & his family are coming in for it too - family night 😁. My sister lives half way between my daughters & my place. It just makes sense.

Home tomorrow - yaaay. I’ve really enjoyed this time in Mulwala, exploring & walking, eating out sometimes. Some of the time spent with family, some of the time spent with a friend. Today I’m here in my own & decided to walk up & across the bridge between Mulwala & Yarrawonga, have a cuppa at the cafe at the end of the bridge. Perfect weather, lovely cuppa & pretty decent walk. Mostly packed up now apart from the last little things in the morning. Looking forward to being in my own wee place for a few weeks. And thanks to the magic of time zones, despite being about 20 hours of travel, we leave at 9:30am and arrive home 12 hours later at 9:30pm on the same day.

Holy fcuk. 😱
They put me in the wrong line through customs, to get back again through the whole customs sh*t, had to take all the electronics out and they took away my drink, I already started crying, ran frantically through the airport yelling sorry to everyone, passing a kid: “why is she running?”, hearing dad behind me: “ I think she has to get her flight”, arriving extremely late at the gate.
The plane is delayed.
