@ithoughtisawa2 I tend to select software to self-host based on it they support OIDC/OAUTH. That might limit me a bit but it is surprising how many great services that do support it.

Also, #authelia has pretty good logging which is helpful to troubleshoot #OIDC issues.

#gethomepage is an interesting dashboard. I didn't manage (yet?) to get everything I wanted working on it, but it's quite a pleasant view. Though I'm not sure yet what I want to do about reachability/authentication 🤔
Nice feature, though currently of little use to me, is that it can configure itself by watching #docker or #k8s annotations. And it can display status of configured services too, which is nice.

No issues with updating my homepage deployment to version 1.0.3. 👍

Don't forget to check the documentation for the new environment variable HOMEPAGE_ALLOWED_HOSTS which was added in v1.0.2.

Looks like the latest #Homepage release requires a new HOMEPAGE_ALLOWED_HOSTS environment variable to run properly.

Otherwise you just get greeted with a "Host validation failed" error.

Finally I was able to discover my #Docker #containers automatically as services on my #gethomepage deployment. The issue was pretty simple and a stupid one in the end. 🫣 Running the homepage container as root when using Docker socket directly solved it. It is mentioned in the documentation, but I overlooked it for some reason. 🙄

I‘m still excited for the widget. Need to dig into building customized widgets. Anyone experiences?
