I have build some fun things for my #HomeLab today. Next to hardening some stuff for fun and testing out other stuff I created a repository with a @forgejo action which automatically searches for updates to services like #Forgejo and #Readeck which I installed as a binary, so they don't get updated automatically. That action will #curl the API of the Forgejo instance the code is hosted on for the latest release and checks if the release's creation date is not more than a day old. Since the action runs each day at midnight this will ensure I'll get just single notification for each update, since when one is found it automatically sends - using curl - an E-Mail to me so I can update. I didn't even know before curl could do that, but it is really useful!

Lyckades även få igång readeckobo som exponerar ett Instapaper API för Readeck så att Kobo kan läsa från den. 😍

@kbob I have used #linkding for a year or two by now. My goal was to replace my old pinboard.in account due to reasons.
I think linkding is great, reliable, fast and does exactly what I need. I can easily find bookmarks using tags, and I can quickly bookmark things using the bookmarklet in my browser bar. I am using #SQLite which I backup using #litestream.
For read-it-later I use #readeck. There is some slight overlap in functionality but I prefer linkding for links and reading in readeck.
