@ithoughtisawa2 I tend to select software to self-host based on it they support OIDC/OAUTH. That might limit me a bit but it is surprising how many great services that do support it.

Also, #authelia has pretty good logging which is helpful to troubleshoot #OIDC issues.

Hm, do I want to enable #password logins besides #SSO to my #readeck and #miniflux? It sounds icky, but seems to be the easiest way to access them from my work computer without giving it access to any other of my services 🤔

@readeck Hello there, I did some work to build Readeck on NetBSD:

• For testing, and standalone installations: platform specific Makefile, diff patch and README files, will submit a PR on Codeberg 🙂

• For production : a package for the pksrc repository (WIP), NetBSD 10.1 amd64 build available here https://pepperm.int.eu.org/pkgsrc/packages/All/readeck-0.22.3.tgz (will be submitted to pkgsrc)

Custom native build for NetBSD ✅

It seems alright, Readeck is written in Golang, lately I prefer native binaries to PHP or NodeJS and alike.

It works. Smartphone companion app and browser plug works too 👍

Might package it or send it upstream if it proves reliable.

My attempts to install #readeck from git on #NixOS continue to fail, and I don't know how to pass current hurdle. My current attempt is https://paste.debian.net/hidden/4f1a435f (the patch just sets go version to `1.26.3` in `go.mod`), and it seems `make templ` causes issues with `go.tool.mod` and the dependencies defined there? Toggling `proxyVendor` doesn't help, I'm not sure what else to try.

Back to writing my thoughts down. Taking the time to do actual deep dives always amazes me. What I think I had clearly thought out is actually a mess of ideas

(With caveats, it seems to be a bookmark and an interface to read, but not a stored copy)

I guess I'll look at some more, but so far I seem to prefer #readeck over #linkwarden

Inspiré par @jlecour et @bca j'essaye de refaire mon setup de veille professionnelle à base de flux RSS et un outil « read-it-later ». J'ai monté un PoC avec #FreshRSS, #CapyReader et #Karakeep, mais je suis déçu par les fonctions collaboratives de Karakeep qui permet de partager une liste en édition, mais ne permet pas aux invité.es d'éditer description, tags, annotations…
Faudrait que je teste #Linkwarden. Ou alors se partager un même compte ? (dans ce cas ça pourrait être avec #Readeck)

Feeling rather chuffed with myself. I’ve set up a #RaspberryPi to act as an RSS aggregator, a read it later service and a podcast catcher all in the one.

Reason: so I can use open source apps on both iOS and Android devices AND keep everything in sync.

@jonno ich glaube, die Kombi ist das, was ich gesucht habe… #readeck für die Artikel und Dinge, die ich aktiv konsumiere, nur das landet auch da, um z.B. beim Lesen Markierungen zu setzen Oder etwas in eine Sammlung zu packen.

Links die ich nur sammeln möchte, aber nicht konsumiere, landen in #LinkAce. Manchmal muss man sich entscheiden, weil ein Link in beides passen würde, aber im Prinzip geht das so schon ziemlich gut und ist für mich intuitiv.

Heute bei mir eingetroffen:
#thinclient Dell OptiPlex 3000 TC mit #pentium Silver-Prozessor. 16 GByte RAM und 64 GByte eMMC, integriert. Steckplatz für weitere #ssd vorhanden. Preislich erschwinglich.
Leider mit unpassendem Netzteil geliefert (zu dicker Stecker), aber Ersatz ist auf dem Weg.

Moin mit ☕️aus dem Bett. Zwischen 2 Tassen habe ich mal eben #LinkAce in die Docker Umgebung geschmissen, um es zu testen. Nutzt das jemand aus der #homelab und #selfhosting Bubble hier? Ich überlege, ob sich das sinnvoll mit #readeck ergänzt, wenn man #readeck eher für „read it later“ verwendet, während #LinkAce einfach nur Linkhalde mit gut organisierten Listen ist, z.B. für Reiselinks, Produktlinks und alles in der Art. Nutzt das jemand so? Berichtet doch mal.

Readeck - EPUB

Weil mich gerade jemand danach gefragt hat: Ja, man kann z. B. eine Auswahl als "Sammlung" erstellen und nur diese im EPUB-Format abspeichern. Sofern man einen Kindle nutzt, kann man die Datei einfach im "Mein Kindle"-Bereich hochladen.
Readeck-Markierungen sind - schwach - sichtbar. Als Fußnoten (mit Zurück-Sprungmarke) erscheinen die Readeck-Textannotationen.
