It’s #boardgames day and the most amazing thing just happened. We are using these wooden dice that have the corners rounded. One of my friends rolled it and it landed on the corner! It sat like that long enough for me to get a photo.

They played the Containers game again tonight, but once again I sat out. It's really funny to me how at the start of these uber complicated games, they'll be like, "Awww, come on! Join us!" And I'm like, "Naaahhhh, thanks, I'm good, I'll just sit here and paint."
And then a half hour in they're trying to remember the incredibly complicated rules and everyone takes forever to do their turn, and they have to remember what phase they're in, endless details, endless debating, on and on. And I'm sitting there trying not point out that the conversation they're having right at that moment is the reason I'm not in the game.
Then they all get done and they're like, "Wow, great game! That was so fun! Let's do it again!" And they _completely_ mean it. It's not polite bullshit. They will literally play it again. Enthusiastically. This has been going on for five years.
When I want to suffer for fun, I just go get tattooed. 😂
