The party gathered and prepared to hunt an #obour, a #vampire spirit that appeared in #Wayfinder fanzine.

I use #novelWriter for my fiction writing, so I'm not planning on migrating that. I quite like Novelwriter (stylized novelWriter).

My technical notes are markdown files that I manage with a regular text editor (#xed and #micro).

I use #LibreOffice for print-outs for my #PathfinderRPG game. It lets me do page layout. For that stuff I try to squeeze much data on one page, and occasionally print player-facing documents as well.

I may not have an Obsidian use-case.

The player who can't make it to today's #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav session is dropping out. They have a lot going on right now. I just spent the last few hours chatting with the player on FB Messenger. They're interested in playing in the future if their situation changes, but for now their PC is being sidelined in an off-screen plot. They said they'd needed to drop for awhile, but been sticking around while I hunt for more players.

OK, looks like I am having #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav session today (04 July), as scheduled. One of my three players can't make it, but one of the others really wants to play, and the host is available, so we're going to play.

Every remaining Saturday this month, at least one player cannot make it, except next Saturday (11 July), so it looks like we're playing next Saturday too. Hopefully nobody drops out of next Saturday.

In my polyamorous-normative worldview of lashunta, chastity is not defined as abstinence, but as refraining from heterosexual activity. Within late adolescence and early adulthood while lashunta are completing their military service, same-sex relationships are encouraged in order to delay pregnancy until afterward. Only after completion when female undergo their bridetide is it permitted.

Needless to say, some relationships endure. Lady Vaeol our narrator had two wifemates before she took a fathermate to have a child, and maintained both of those relationships going forward.

I'm working on a new fire #skeleton NPC. The party is tasked with destroying fire skeleton champions that are lieutenants for a lord of fire skeletons.

So far they've destroyed four, three of whom were archers (2 warriors, 1 fighter) and one was a necromancer.

The new one is a fire skeleton with the slayer class and a stealth focus. (These fire skelly champions can suppress their fire auras so he can sneak.)

I just got home from my #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav game. Our scheduled session is 8 PM to 12 AM but we ran to about 2:30 AM because the party wanted to finish the multi-session Battle for Sen's Pass.

It concluded in Round 6. We played rounds 3 through 6 (four rounds) this session.

The allied coalition destroyed all the fire #skeletons and ash #wights, including the two skelly champions that tried to flee near the end of the battle.

I like #MetalMiniatures. It is difficult to find metal miniatures of all the creatures I would like to have for my #TTRPG campaign.

In this instance, I'd like to find a metal gug that is decent. #ReaperMiniatures has a metal gug, but it's silly and cartoonish. (It looks like vagina dentata with limbs.)

The #PathfinderRPG gug has great art and I'd love to find something along the lines of their artwork. I've found some resin versions, but metal is elusive.

Since Ginny Di and Pointy Hat declared it Fey Week for DungeonTubers on YouTube, I've been thinking about #Fey a lot this week.

I wrote an ability I want to give all creatures of the Fey type in my #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav campaign. It's an at-will #illusion (phantasm) that gives fey +20 Stealth to hide in plain sight as inanimate objects. They can't move or attack but can still talk, Will Save to disbelieve and it is automatically disbelieved by anyone within 15 feet.

The #P1e #Ustalav 28 March session was rescheduled this evening, 04 April.

Combat progressed through round 2.

The skelly necro hit the cleric with boneshaker. The rogue hit the skelly necro with a lightning bolt scroll. The bloodrager smashed a mythic fire #skeleton to bits.

A #dhampir NPC released three #vampires (spawn) from a canister into the fight.

The ash #wight crit-fumbled and dealt 8 damage to itself.

(Next is 28 March.)

Last session the party started battle with the #undead at sunset. They accepted aid from a #dhampir sent by the #vampires.

We didn't finish round one. At session close, the #skeleton necro cast #fireball (7d6, Ref half DC 16) on the party position, and the #dretch #demon riding our bloodrager ended his possession to flee to the #undead side.

In my articles and creative worldbuilding exercises, I've written of the Moqeva wielding 'eldritch weirdmight', the details of which the Lashunta have lost between history and legend. Did the Moqeva's psychic powers merely exceed the Lashunta's? Did they have accees to alien technology the primitive Lashunta could not understand, which allowed them to engineer and unleash the first moldstorms? Or did the Moqeva truly commune with megascopic, unclean powers from beyond Father-Night's protective cloak, with whom they bartered their souls and sanity in sorcerous pacts?

This younger world that has forcibly purged itself of ancient, painful memories may never know.

One of Paizo’s first & few Pathfinder depictions of a Lashunta & a Shotalashu, Appeared in the 2010 edition of the Pathfinder Game Mastery Guide.

This was the first Lashunta pic I ever posted. Yet to be honest, my thoughts on this image have grown highly complicated. I admit that this pic was one of the first things that piqued my interest in the Lashunta & Castrovel. The “Barsoomian cultural influence” is strong, which continues to have an influence on my worldbuilding. That said, I’ve tried in these last years to inject more depth and verisimilitude into my vision of Lashunta than just bangle-clad babes riding through the jungle. So here’s a critique of the questions, or even obvious weaknesses, I find in this image, hopefully to illustrate how my vision is evolving.

First, other than the shield, let’s agree that SHE’S NOT WEARING ANY ARMOR. I’m not even sure the thing on her head should count as a helmet, although maybe it provides defensive protection for her antennae?

Next, the pasties make no sense. In my concept for Lashunta clothing, Shota-riders (especially female) wear a top similar either to an Indian-style choli or a Thai/Cambodian bandeau-wrap, which certainly offers more support than these bangles. Enough said.

The axe is a little chunky for this rider’s build, and certainly for a one-handed wield. I decline any comment on the magical glow.

I have nothing to offer on the ridge-spikes on the shield’s front. I have no idea what function they would serve, but worry they add needless weight. As someone who has personal experience fighting with a shield, the weight tires out the arm swiftly.

It’s fortuitous this pic was taken during Heaventide, the Castrovellian version of winter, the only time of year when the otherwise perpetual cloud-cover has a chance of breaking.

I'm trying to decide how many NPCs would respond to the request for aid. Also, should the village #vampire faction lend aid?
