French cleat tips: For stable tool holders ensure that height h is longer than depth d. Also brace against the rear wall, in the photo this is done with block b. These steps help to resist the turning force and keep the tool holder on the wall.

Das ist ja wohl der Hammer! 🔨

(Und das dahinter ist die #FrenchCleat Wand die ich heute gebaut habe um mein #Werkzeug zu sortieren. Selbst wenn ich der einzige Nutzer meiner #Werkstatt wäre: ich glaube die Entropie kriegt man nur in den Griff wenn alles einen geregelten Platz hat - idealerweise mit Beschriftung.
Nächster Halt: #FreeCAD, dann werden Werkzeughalter entworfen was das Zeug hält.)

I have been working on this shelve system for displaying our holiday towns and decorations in the off seasons. This is the beginning of a long project and is just the beginning. We have French cleat shelf system on the wall with lemax holiday village sets, most of which we got on sale last year.

Phew. Cram as much into a day as you can. Working on French cleat wall. Rearranging everything to start on a manifold dust collection system and picked up a new tool chest for all the associated chaos that comes with milling. I had given way too much space in my assembly table and this keeps things together so much better. Just so cold. 🥶 No table saw yet so I circular sawed everything outdoors. #woodworking #workshop #organization #frenchcleat

Heut mal was mit #Holz im einigermaßen aushaltbaren Keller gemacht. Alles auf Anfänger Niveau aber ich hab jetzt ne Mini #FrenchCleat Wand über der Arbeitsplatte.
