My very first #make of a wall of french cleats. 🤩
Now I need something to hang there. I wonder if I'll be making something of wood (I'm thinking my soldering station) or something 3d-printed (my set of hex keys, which haven't found a place in the pegboard...)

It’s not the most beautiful thing in the world, but it should be functional. A sharpening station with a two-sided diamond stone (held vertical by magnets), a leather strop and a plywood strop, the french cleat will double as a bench hook when sharpening. #FrenchCleats #woodworking

After completing our workbench, we needed to revisit our tool organization. We’d been acquiring new tools and had been increasingly dissatisfied with the pegboard we had, which seems like a great idea but in practice is not great. We ripped down the pegboard and some random wall coverings, and in one corner of the garage put up plywood walls and a set of French cleats to use for organization. #woodworking #FrenchCleats

Late August 2020, bumped my head on a heavy shelf, that I mounted with French Cleats. Took a week off work to avoid screens, and spent it in my garage, re-organizing my tools by... using French Cleats. Before and After!
