If you're trying to enable it after installing it, you have to go to:
-> Settings
-> Wallpaper
-> Screen Saver ...
-> Custom

in order to specify that instead of using your live wallpaper as your screen saver that you would like a different screen saver

I just found a valid and pristine disk image of After Dark 2.0c for Windows 3. The best screensaver collection in history. All credit goes to "mbmayfield" for sharing his floppy disk!
