Logged the requisite maneuvers with my safety pilot spouse. I should only need to fly IFR to GRB; from there my wife can get use home.
The ForeFlight digital approach charts are a delight to use, BTW. Everything is laid out better and it’s much faster to take in during flight.

In preparation for an upcoming flight, today I completed an instrument proficiency check (IPC). In a bit over an hour in the air, I did:
1. A VOR approach (ANE VOR 9);
2. A partial-panel ILS approach to minimums (200') (ANE ILS 27);
3. Unusual attitude recovery;
4. A GPS approach with a hold, circling (500') to a landing (MIC RNAV/GPS 14 CTL 32).I was busy, but I flew well (no autopilot). It felt good to get back into the system and to still be able to do a difficult thing.

We’re headed to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for Airventure 2024. Looking forward to a week of camping with friends, airplanes, and relaxing.
