Ein eher ungewöhnliches Bündnis aus großen #EVU und #Umweltverbänden fordert einen Kurswechsel beim geplanten #Gebäudemodernisierungsgesetz (#GmodG). Die im Entwurf vorgesehene #Grüngasquote berge „erhebliche Risiken bei begrenztem Zusatznutzen“, heißt es in einem gemeinsamen Papier von #Eon, #EWE, #BUND, #Nabu, #Deutscher #Umwelthilfe und dem Dachverband #DNR, das #TagesspiegelBackground vorab vorliegt. Unter anderem schließen sich auch der Wärmepumpen-Anbieter #Thermondo, der Ökostromanbieter #OctopusEnergy sowie der Elektro- und Digitalindustrieverband #ZVEI der Forderung an. #PSA If you have a do-not-resuscitate (#DNR) order, make sure it's visible at all times from the entryway of your home.
This PSA brought to you courtesy of my elderly uncle being resuscitated, intubated, and put on a ventilator by EMTs, against the wishes in his DNR, because they didn't know he had one, and now he's lying sedated in an ICU, and I, as his healthcare proxy, am responsible for deciding whether to continue providing the care he didn't want or withdraw it and "see what happens." 💔

If you're in #Michigan and you think that Class-2 #ebikes (which also only go 20mph) should be allowed where class-1 ebikes are allowed and that BOTH should be allowed wherever #bicycles are allowed, go fill out the #DNR survey

#Scooters that max out at 20mph should also be allowed. It is not the throttle that causes the danger. I've seen spandexers rocket by at much faster speeds.
