    During the aerial combat, Manfred von Richthofen is hit in the chest, killing him in less than a minute.
    Who killed him? Possibly Canadian Arthur Roy Brown, possibly troops on the ground 🤷

    He is well remembered for his roles in The Hunt For the Mad Trapper, and the Race Against Death.

  4. Today in 1891, Francis Pegahmagabow was born. A sniper in the First World War, he is credited with killing 378 Germans, while capturing 300 more. During the war, he earned the Military Medal with Two Bars.
    After the war, he became an Indigenous activist.
