    New is the 1916-1919 #WW1 journey of HMS Whitby Abbey; Mediterranean.

    The journey of USS Concord (PG-3) was amended with the years 1899-1900; Asiatic Station.
    Her journey now covers 1897 to 1900 and 1907 to 1909.

    And USS Yorktown (PG-1) was amended with the years 1912-1913; North, Central and South American waters.
    Her journey now covers 1889 to 1913, though there are some gaps when she was decommissioned.

  4. The Royal Navy bought twenty new sea drones from a UK company called Kraken. They're flash units with autonomous capability and are designed to work in swarms.

  11. A few weeks ago, we visited the #FleetAirArmMuseum as it used to be called, which is in #Yeovilton. The #FleetAirArm is that part of the #RoyalNavy associated with #Aviation, mainly helicopters but also fixed-wing #Aeroplanes. Its official title now is Royal Navy Museum, Naval Aviation. There’s lots of hardware and #Engineering to be seen there and I recommend you go there but it’s a little out of the way and probably not as renowned as other #Museums.
