Really liking some #eSUN #ASA+ that I'm currently printing with for outside garden use. Printing at 270C nozzle and 110C for the bed on my #ElegooCentauriCarbon
Sticks to the bed quite nicely .Needs brims for narrow stuff but the brims come away very cleanly when the part is cool. (I use a can of freezer spray if I need my prints cooling quickly)

Put #eSUN #PETG basic/lite Filament in a Box and instantly watch it suck up all humidity inside the box.
That stuff is not usable as filament.
It pops like popcorn, resisted all professional attempts at drying and still want's more.
It can probably be used as silica-gel replacement.
Don't buy.
The graph shows the temperature-compensated absolute humidity in an unheated room-temperature box. As soon as I put the spool inside, humidity dropped while room humidity remained stable.

So, anyone know how #PLA+ (particularly #eSUN which I usually buy) stacks up environmentally ? I love the extra toughness and easier printing, especially as it's barely more expensive (it may actually work out cheaper due to fewer reprints).
But not knowing exactly what the + is (no standard) - I wonder what the trade off is? #PLA is very recyclable and in the right conditions #biodegradable and doesn't require any fossil fuels to make. It makes #3dprinting greener. Is PLA+ significantly worse?

My first filament change. I had to update the print settings of my Creality Ender 2 Pro because this PLA+ from eSun preferred higher nozzle and bed temperatures than my previous prints.
This came out as probably my smoothest print so far. What is it? It's Just Another Monitor Headphone Hanger (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2673731)

Finally remembering/getting around to using this kit I bought to vacuum seal my opened filament. Works well, and the bags are reusable.

#3dprinting I'm curious what filament people recommend. I personally use #esun #pla+ but, feel free to share your thoughts on esun pla+ or your recommendation since I'm currently in the market for another spool now.
