Hat schon mal jemand 3D-Drucke aus PLA oder PETG mit Wasserglas behandelt? Zum Beispiel zum Abdichten?

Bisher habe ich mich beim #3DDruck auf #PETG (und selten #PLA) beschränkt, ab und zu mal #TPU. Heute dann Premiere mit #ASA - ich bin gespannt.
Zunächst mal dauert es erheblich länger, bis der Druck startet, um eine hohe und gleichmäßige Bauraumtemperatur zu erreichen. Das erste kleine Testobjekt war aber schon mal gut, die Haptik und zaghafte Biegetests sind überzeugend.

Well, my last test prints with the material combination of #PETG and #BVOH (for the support interfaces) turned out very well, after proper drying of both filaments and printing with a single nozzle #BambuLab #X1C. It took quite a bit of fine-tuning in the settings, but now it seems to be working. I am now printing one of the two complicated models in its entirety, the monitor stand for the #NeXT #MegaPixel display.

Using #PVA as an interface filament for supports when printing with #PETG or #PLA, is a total waste of money. Don't use it! ☝🏻

I've done various tests with #BambuLab's "Support for #PLA / #PETG". To be honest, it doesn't deserve its name! This filament is SO DIFFICULT to remove that it's a real waste of money.

Does anyone here have experience with #PVA #filament for use with #PETG? Which one would you recommend?

Printed a vented riser for my new #3Dprinter . Using translucent #PETG . I don't need to store the glass top separately now and it has clips inside for LED lights. If there is one knock I have against the #elegoo Centauri Carbon it's just not bright enough inside, but this will fix that with new lighting.

Put #eSUN #PETG basic/lite Filament in a Box and instantly watch it suck up all humidity inside the box.

That stuff is not usable as filament.

It pops like popcorn, resisted all professional attempts at drying and still want's more.

It can probably be used as silica-gel replacement.

Don't buy.

The graph shows the temperature-compensated absolute humidity in an unheated room-temperature box. As soon as I put the spool inside, humidity dropped while room humidity remained stable.

Hi everyone. Has someone ever saw such an issue with 3D Printing? I have invested hours in troubleshooting and still no progress. It is most of the time the 3rd layer and the first layer is perfect.

I use PETG+ from ACTIVEME at 230/70C° with 6mm retraction and the Ender 3 V2 Neo 0.15mm layer height at 100mm/s printing speed

The fillament is fresh newly opend so it is not humidity.
In the past i printed perfectly fine with the same fillament.

Recently, I printed a new set of medium-sized storage boxes using white PETG filament from Fiberlogy. It’s nearly as easy to handle as PLA, which makes the printing process smooth.

I also tweaked the seam settings on my Prusa XL to mitigate the seam gap issue using localized random seams, inside and out about 5mm apart. Not beautiful, but structural sound.

Using them to store cables in a very compact way.

End of the project. Now the mower doesn't slip even on the hilly part of the lawn.
Had some problems putting wheels on the rim because of the very tight fit. Had to put wheels into hot water (50C) to enlarge them a bit.
I hope #nylon will last longer than #petg.
