I'm printing it. I incremented the #flowrate in the #slicer to be sure there are no gaps and it's actually #waterproof. Also, it's printed in #petg for the same reason.
Very bad orientation, it allows to save some plastic but let's hope it will not fail 🫣

Wife noticed the #cat 's #water #fountain upstairs was empty again this morning. It's not the first time, and this must be fixed, so I'm trying to sketch up a quick&dirty water #level #sensor to monitor with #homeassistant ...
The idea is to print it (in #petg for water resistance), place a #cherrymx #switch in the upper compartment and sink it in hot glue to avoid water messing with the switch. Then I'll connect it to _something_ (probably an #ESP32 or #ESP8266 with #ESPHome) and configure Home Assistant to issue a notification to my wife's phone when the switch is released (= the water level is too low). -

Bisher habe ich mich beim #3DDruck auf #PETG (und selten #PLA) beschränkt, ab und zu mal #TPU. Heute dann Premiere mit #ASA - ich bin gespannt.
Zunächst mal dauert es erheblich länger, bis der Druck startet, um eine hohe und gleichmäßige Bauraumtemperatur zu erreichen. Das erste kleine Testobjekt war aber schon mal gut, die Haptik und zaghafte Biegetests sind überzeugend. -
