Since @calyxos has resolved it's issues and has published current versions again, I've flashed my #FP4 which is running #Android 16 now and is back on OTA updates.

I've used #seedvault for the first time and I'm very impressed! This was the best set-up process on a phone I had so far. Seedvault restored nearly everything without any issues. Thank you so much!

Are you sure you are not using #Droidify instead? They don't support index-v2 yet, and they are aware of an issue that sounds like yours: https://github.com/Droid-ify/client/issues/1266#issuecomment-4043937697

Viele android Einstellungen sind nur umständlich zu erreichen z. B. schalte ich regelmäßig das private DNS um oder stelle das Gerät für Meetings besonders ein, das ist immer eine wüste Klickerei. Um das zu automatisieren nutze ich seit einiger Zeit Klick'r, damit lassen sich Kaskaden von touchevents speichern und automatisiert abrufen.

Currently run my Android phone completely google free using apps from #Droidify and #aurorastore (both available from #fdroid )
Droid-ify:

#fossifyapps for basic apps: calendar, contacts, calculator, phone, messages, gallery, file manager, music etc

You have probably seen this #viral #infographic on #eu #digitalsovereignty by #reddit user u/lukakopajtic. It was viral but not very accurate 😅 recommending #bluesky and #firefox as "EU alternatives"? How? Anyway, he just updated the infographic, and it's much, much better! Most issues have been corrected. I think there is still a couple of issues I disagree with: 1) recommending #matrix instead of #jabber #xmpp 2) recommending #lineageos instead of #grapheneos (but OK, I can understand this if the focus is on self-sovereignty only), 3) recommending #droidify instead of #accrescent (but, even here, I can understand if the goal is to replace #playstore ), and 4) recommending #thunderbird as a comparison to #gmail (nothing wrong with Thunderbird, but that's an email client, not a Gmail-like suite provider, I would have rather recommended #mailfence or #mailbox ). Kudos for the initiative though, the intentions are good!

@signalapp has been added to @guardianproject's #FDroid repo. That's all fine and dandy, but since the fork by #TwinHelix is using the same package name #Droidify is presenting these two apps as one app. This is going to cause someone to download #Signal instead of the fork.
