i think im going to stop posting about the #genocide (and the #domicide and #ecocide) in #gaza and the #westbank. it feels completely pointless. i think it was hannah arendt who once said in an interview that she tried to kill hitler on the astral plane. thats somewhat how i feel in the face of the everyday horror in palestine: i wont be able to stop the zionist butchers and murder gangs, nor contribute anything meaningful to stopping them. it just makes me sick, i cant see it anymore, i cant take it anymore!

# Domicide in Gaza
Human rights lawyer Michael Sfarad identifies "domicide" – the deliberate destruction of human habitation environments – as a critical concept for understanding events in Gaza. Though not yet codified in international criminal law, Sfarad notes legal experts, academics, and human rights advocates increasingly recognize the need to establish domicide as a specific crime against humanity.
The systematic destruction documented in Gaza (73.5% of buildings in Rafah completely destroyed, only 4.2% undamaged) is a case study in domicide. Unlike existing war crimes covering property destruction, domicide specifically addresses the erasure of living spaces as a method to prevent population return. #Netanyahu's statement that "we are destroying more and more houses, they have nowhere to return to" directly connects to this concept, suggesting the destruction serves to eliminate the possibility of return rather than address immediate security concerns.
