  1. LockStar and Display Assistant now support One UI 9.0!

We are being very close to the unveiling of One UI 9.0 as the Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 event comes closer. This month will be full of excitement as Samsung is getting ready to unveil the newest foldables and the watches, along with their new features. Samsung is getting Good Lock and its modules to be ready for the upcoming version of One UI 9.0 as you can see in this tracker.

The Display Assistant and LockStar Good Lock modules have been finally updated to support One UI 9.0, with Samsung working on Home Up as the last module to be updated and released soon to those who are running the beta version. This is a major progress that was made this week to ensure that the beta version of One UI 9.0 continues even after the unveil to iron out the last of the bugs.

The new app version is under v9.0.00.5 for LockStar and v9.0.08 for Display Assistant, and they run only on One UI 9.0 Beta for the Galaxy S26. Once the stable version rolls out, this module will be available to all users who are using the official One UI 9.0 software.

To update your Good Lock modules, you can update them either from the Galaxy Store (Menu > Updates > Update All) or from the Good Lock application (Plugins > Update All) if there are any updates. Afterwards, the Good Lock modules that were mentioned should work flawlessly on One UI 9.0.

Display Assistant is a Good Lock module that allows you to change more settings related to display, such as managing screen timeout for each application and setting brightness limit profile and Keep screen on feature. Meanwhile, LockStar allows you to customize your phone’s lock screen to your taste.
