  11. 📈 High Calorie Clean Foods 🥗

High-calorie “clean” foods matter because they let you eat enough to gain muscle (or fuel hard training) without the usual downsides that come from living on ultra-processed calorie bombs.

🚀 Use “calorie boosters” that don’t add a ton of volume

🔥 Choose carb bases that are easy to digest and stack well

⏫ Lean on higher-calorie proteins that are still “clean”

  28. My diet kind of sucks. So I've set myself the goal for the next week or so of exclusively eating the freshest food I can get.

So far so good, I'm eating a nice wide variety of foods, I'm preparing everything as I need it, nothing pre-prepared, etc.

But man, is eating fresh, good quality food expensive. The grocery industry is really price gouging!

(Obviously, this isn't news to me, but I'm really seeing it this week.)

  33. I know that there are people who will get violently angry at my even suggesting this, but, facts are facts.

The only #diets that have ever been shown to be successful, in the long term, are ones that reduce #calorie intake and/or increase caloric burn. It is #calories in/calories out. Sorry!

I've done what this article suggests and I *have* looked at the studies in PubMed and that is ultimately what they do say. Sorry again!
