Amalyn keeps herself fit through all sorts of practical activities such as climbing sheer cliff faces, crawling through caves in search of treasure, fighting off bandit ambushes, and walking all over the kingdom on those not-so-rare occasions when her horse Uli gets mad at her and plants his hooves in one place and she just has to leave him where he is until he gets over it or until she finds an apple to bribe him with.

Bethany? I guess “physically fit” is one way to describe someone who can get up and walk out of a hospital fully healed two hours after getting run over by a car. She really wishes her dad would tell her why she can do that and why she can pick up a guy twice her size like he’s a sack of clementines and why every time she cuts herself it heals in less than half an hour without a scar. She’s pretty sure it isn’t just the cardio from swimming. Maybe milkshakes imbue supernatural abilities?
